Teresa Cleveland, founder of Empowered Awareness is a workshop leader, speaker and Empowerment Specialist.  As a mother of four and grandmother of six and a thriving survivor of domestic violence, Teresa uses real-life examples and humor to teach her clients how to overcome adversity of any kind.  Having overcome domestic violence, which then resulted in becoming a single mom of three and living on welfare, Teresa has shown us the true meaning of success through perseverance and determination. With her “whatever it takes, never give up” attitude motivating her to persevere, she has held jobs ranging from driving a cab to owning several different businesses. She realizes that everything she has experienced in her life has been training for who she is today and has equipped her with the knowledge and life lessons necessary to fulfill her calling — her true passion of helping others find and live their passion. Teresa is dedicated to living a life aligned with her passions, one which allows her to reach out to people from all walks of life and share a heartfelt message of choice and hope. 

She now specializes in teaching and training others to identify their passion and strengths, build relationships that add value and communicate their message effectively.  Teresa is the author of an upcoming book about women living their passion.  A member of Toastmasters International and Past President of the Hilliard Business Women’s Association, Teresa relates to her audience with inspiring and thought-provoking stories and processes that help them achieve an awareness that unlocks their own purpose and passion, so they, too, are empowered to live the life they are meant to live.
